comprising a press-molded scallop-shell plate with green enamel band applied to the rim, centering a long-tailed peafowl standing on brown curling branches, surrounded by green-blue sponged and brushed foliage, unmarked; and a shallow bowl, with press-molded scallop-shell and feather rim, painted with a green band to the rim, the center left plain, impressed DAWSON. Circa 1800-1820. 10" D, the first; 1 3/16" H, 9 1/4" D, the second.

The first with a damaged section professionally glued to the main body and over-painted, the painting now visible; the second with tiny chips and signs of being stacked in the kiln, and minor rubbing to the bowl base, otherwise in good order.
