of baluster form, with waisted foot, the high-domed cover with inverted acorn-form knop, transfer-printed in Prattware hues over sepia with a floral and foliate band above a scene of a boy caressing his recumbent white cow, within a rural landscape. The edges and handle painted ocher. Unmarked. Circa 1820. 10 3/8" H.
Provenance: Property of a Maryland private collector.
