comprising four saucers with shaped rims, printed in bicolor technique in lilac and medium blue, with scenes from "Moral Pictures" series; and two Clews examples, one printed with a "Basket of Flowers" and one with "Stag and Doe." All with impressed and/or printed marks. Circa 1835-1845. 1 5/16" HOA, 5 3/4" DOA.
Provenance: Property of New York private collectors.
Excellent to good condition, the Clews "Stag and Doe" saucer dish in excellent condition; foot rim chip and heat-crazing to the other Clews dish; three of the "Moral Pictures" with some crazing, heat damage and shallow foot rim chips.
