of scallop-molded neo-rococo pear form, with a high collar and bracket-molded handle, the ribbed spout molded with a mask in low relief to the underside, transfer-printed in medium blue in the "Royal Festoon" pattern. Printed mark to underside. Attributed to William Ridgway. Circa 1840. 8" HOA.

Catalogue Note: Probably an iteration of the "Windsor Festoon" pattern," this teapot has unusual molding to the spout.
Good to moderate condition, the body with some crazing and interior whorled light cracking due to exposure to heat, small chips to the spout and to the flange, a light circular crack around the upper handle terminate and the stem of the floral knop absent.
