transfer-printed in purple, comprising three plates with scallop-molded rims, printed in the "Antiques" and other Classically-inspired patterns; two scallop-molded plates transfer-printed in red with bold florals; a twizzler and a cup and saucer, all transfer-printed in red with birds in patterns such as "Peacock" and "Pheasant." Various impressed and printed marks. Circa 1835 and later. 2 1/2" HOA, the cup, the plates 4 7/8" to 10 1/2" D. (UPDATED 4/6/2015)

Very good to moderate condition, one of the Classical plates with some crazing and heat-related staining, and one of the floral plates with a chip, wear and staining.
