transfer-printed in red, comprising a Boche-Freres café au lait bowl, printed in the "Auto" pattern, with humorous images of people in cars, gendarmes directing traffic, etc., and five scallop-molded plates, transfer-printed in "Palestine," "Serpentine," "Etruscan Vase" and other patterns. Various impressed and printed marks. Circa 1835 and later. 2 1/2" HOA, the bow; 7 3/4" TO 9 1/4" D, the plates. (UPDATED 4/6/2015)

Very good to moderate condition, most of the plates in very good condition, one or two with crazing to the glaze and related staining; the bowl with lateral cracks to well and to foot, and within foot and on rim.
