white to jade green pyriform font, traces of gilt decoration outlining cuttings, brass stem and single-step marble base, No. 1 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising an E. F. Jones No. 1 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "E. F. JONES PATENT / JAN 11 1859", brass 3" standard shade ring with coining to edge, a frosted and engraved Oregon shade with floral pattern decoration, and a colorless lip chimney. Probably Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 16 1/4" H to top of shade, 10" H to top of collar, 4" SQ base. Shade 5 3/4" HOA, 3" D fitter. Third quarter 19th century.

Condition
Outstanding condition, font with a very minute flake to green glass in an upper cutting and minute wear, marble with expected minor flakes/roughness. Burner deflector with some minute denting near edge and light stress marks to contour, as made, shade ring with some light denting, shade and chimney undamaged.
