white to blue cased colorless pyriform font with opal spiraling threads, six facet cut large elongated quatrefoils between six small horizontal ovals at top and six vertical oval panels to base, brass connector, wooden stem, and a single-step marble base, No. 1 single-rib collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a No. 1 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "PAT. MAY 4. 1858 & JAN. 24.1???", 3 1/2" shade ring with coining to the edge, cased sapphire blue Oregon shade with cut and roughed floral pattern, and a colorless lip chimney. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., and others. 18 1/2" H to top of shade, 11 1/4" H to top of collar, 4 3/4" SQ base. Shade 6 3/4" HOA, 3 1/2" D fitter. Circa 1860-1880.

Excellent condition, font with normal minute wear, one quatrefoil with a very small potstone resulting in a minute star-like crack, marble with expected wear/roughness. Burner undamaged, shade with some light high-point wear and fitter with a moderate shallow chip which partially affects the profile, chimney fitter with normal roughness, as made.
