Ward Co., comprising an assortment of costumes/uniforms and accessories including 30 sashes/collars, 25 highly detailed embroidered candidates sashes, 17 robes/cloaks/tunics including 11 velvet examples with bead and button embellishments, 15 various hats/helmets including velvet and turban forms, a pair of velvet and embroidered leggings; assorted props including six wire masks including two with beards, seven emblematic and plain shields, ten spears/scepters, seven rolled scrolls, etc.; six framed articles including a Kurz & Allison print of Justus Henry Rathbone, Founder and Past Supreme Chancellor, and three photographs of unknown gentlemen in uniform, a self-framed bulletin board for the Valley Lodge No. 18, and the 1890 certificate of organization for the J. E. B. Stuart, Division No. 10 lodge, and a pamphlet marked "72nd Annual Session / Grand Lodge / Knights of Pythias / of Virginia / Oct 15-16-17 1940". Together with a German Simson & Co SUHL bayonet. Clothing and props in very good to fair condition, some expected wear and deterioration, framed articles with some small to moderate holes/tears and toning, photo and frames excellent, two examples lacking glass and another with cracks.
