CHINESE EXPORT PORCELAIN TEABOWL AND SAUCER, octagonal form, footed, painted with a band of trellis alternating with half-flowerheads within reserves, above flowers emerging from grass, centering a large blooming flower. Each with four character mark to underside, the saucer Kangxi, the bowl Qianlong. The bowl possibly Qing dynasty, 18th century; the saucer probably late 19th/early 20th century. (UPDATED 4/23/15). Bowl 2" H, saucer 5 1/8" D.
Provenance: Property of a Massachusetts private collector.
