- Lot Description
light apple green, applied handle, No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising an Adlams "Monitor" string-wick lip burner, thumbwheel marked "ADLAMS.PAT.OCT.14.1862", and a colorless lip chimney. 2 7/8" H to top of collar, 3" D base. Third quarter 19th century.

Undamaged lamp, collar with some light denting. Burner with a small light dent to band under gallery and minute denting to wick tube, chimney fitter with a significant loss to the edge of flange.Condition
