  An exceptionally heavy Victorian sterling silver flatware service for 12 in Victoria pattern predominantly by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, hallmarked London 1839*: 12 dinner knives 12 dessert knives 12 dinner forks 12 dessert forks 12 tablespoons 12 dessert spoons 12 teaspoons 2 gravy ladles 85 pieces total, 167.8 troy oz (5220g) weighable. The set comes in a large two-level fitted oak case. *Note: Two teaspoons, one dessert spoon and one dessert fork are later dates (London 1844-61). Two teaspoons are by George Adams, London 1844 and 1857. **The table knives and dessert knives were made by CJ Vander, hallmarked London 1966. $60 for shipping within North America.
