• Lot Description
  A Victorian sterling silver claret jug by Walter & Charles Sissons, hallmarked Sheffield 1876. Silver collar, spout and domed lid embossed with scrolls and anthemions on a matte ground with a pierced thumb-piece, and double scroll handle. The pyriform glass base etched with anthemions, bands and beads. 10.5" (26.7cm) high.
