  An American sterling silver water jug by Becht & Hartl, New Jersey c. 1940. Designed after a George II beer jug: baluster shaped body on pedestal foot with acanthus capped scroll handle and sparrow's beak spout. 8" (20.3cm) high, 24.7 troy oz (767g).
