• Lot Description
  An assembled George III sterling silver tea set, comprising a teapot and coffee pot by Daniel Pontifex, London 1805 and 1800, and a cream jug and sugar bowl by William Fountain, London 1806 and 1807. Oval shaped half-fluted bodies with gadroon borders and scroll handles and spouts, gilt interiors. Each engraved with two family crests. Height of coffee pot 10.5" (26.7cm), total weight 67.7 troy oz (2105g).
