  A pretty French sterling silver soup tureen (.950 standard), c. 1890. Oval body on pedestal foot with domed lid, beautifully engraved with scrolls and flowers and mounted with an exceptional cast floral finial and foliate handles. 13.5" (34.3cm) across, 59.5 troy oz (1850g).
