  An English sterling silver comport (or dessert dish) by Adie Brothers, hallmarked Birmingham 1936. Navette shaped body with pierced edge on pedestal foot with applied shell and scroll border. 8 7/8" (22.5cm) diameter, 10" (25.4cm) high, 7.25" (18.4cm) wide, 14 troy oz (434g).
