• Lot Description
  A large and heavy Melon pattern sterling silver tea set by Henry Birks & Sons, Montreal 1957-58. "Original Hallmark Series - 1829", comprising a teapot, coffee pot, hot water pot, cream jug, and sugar bowl. With melon shaped bodies and acanthus capped scroll handles and spouts and shell feet. Total weight: 120.4 troy ounces (3745g), coffee pot is 8.75" (22.2cm) high, teapot is 10.5" (26.7cm) from handle to spout and has a 6 cup (1500ml) capacity.
