This is a VERY large & beautifully framed, original Picasso-embossed stamped, pencil numbered (126/500) Limited Edition lithograph (lithographs are typically more expensive than serigraphs), stone-signed signature, pencil dated 1969 next to the signature, and pencil location – “Paris†also clearly visible. The artwork was purchased as a Picasso Estate issued lithograph. It’s a portrait of Picasso’s mistress Francoise Gilot. The piece is also dated in French 1er Mai 1946 (May 1st 1946) as part of the original lithographic process. “Portrait of Francoise Gilot†(Drawing #1854373455-WorthPoint), is also listed in the Picasso Catalogue Raisonne’.
