2021-W 4-Coin Proof American Gold Eagle Set (Box + CoA, Type 2). As of February 10, 2025, the Gold Price Per Ounce was $2,908.28. Presenting the remarkable 2021-W 4-Coin Proof American Gold Eagle Set, a captivating collection released by the United States Mint in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Proof American Gold Eagle series. 2021-W 4-Coin Proof American Gold Eagle Set Highlights: Includes individual capsules, a presentation box, and a Certificate of Authenticity! Commemorates the 35th anniversary with the new Type 2 reverse! Limited mintage of just 10,250 coin sets! Encompasses 1.85 Troy oz of actual gold content. Each coin is fully backed by the US government with distinct face values. The obverse showcases Liberty, while the reverse highlights the majestic bald eagle. Enhanced obverse details pay homage to Augustus Saint-Gaudens’ original design. Features a reeded edge for enhanced anti-counterfeiting security. Includes a “W” mint mark, denoting production at the West Point Mint. Upon acquiring the Proof American Gold Eagle 4-Coin Set, collectors will revel in the possession of one each of the Proof Gold Eagles, available in 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz denominations. These coins boast a composition of 91.67% gold, 5.33% copper, and 3% silver, resulting in a 22-karat gold content. Face values range from $50 to $5 (USD).
