* Two Royal Worcester Porcelain Vases
1880 and 1900
shapes 784 & 1937, the first of bottle form with pierced mouth and ring handles, the second of baluster form with foliate handles and lid, each with floral decoration.
Height of first 13 1/2 inches.
Estimate $ 80-120
Property from the William Robert Smith Trust, Sherman, Illinois, sold to benefit the Animal Protective League of Springfield and Sangamon County and The Cathedral Church of St. Paul, IllinoisCondition
Each in good, stable condition overall. Minor instances of pitting and discoloration to the beige and ivory ground, particularly to the covered example. Minor instances of rubbing and loss to the painted decoration and gilt highlights. Light shelf wear consistent with age.
