Two Givenchy Evening Gowns and One Bill Blass Cape and Skirt Ensemble, 1970s-1980s Sold to benefit the Art Acquisition Fund at the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfield. The first; a Givenchy evening dress with black silk velvet bodice, black moire taffeta full sleeves, magenta moire taffeta skirt with black ruffle trim, and front button and hidden snap closure. Label: Givenchy, Made in France. The second; a Givenchy evening dress with black silk velvet bodice with low pointed waist, long black satin sleeves, black satin ruffle trim at cuffs and collar, black moire silk skirt with autumnal floral print, and back zip closure. Label: Givenchy, Made in France. The third; a Bill Blass day ensemble with long tan jersey cape with tie and snap closure at neck, cream jersey blouse with short sleeves and back zip, and tan jersey straight skirt with self-covered belt and back zip closure.
