The Fellowship of the Ring. London: George Allen & Unwin, 1954. 8vo (220 x 140 mm). Folding map and full-page map printed in red and black after Christopher Tolkien, line illustrations after J.R.R. Tolkien. (Some light browning.) Publisher's red cloth, spine gold-lettered, top edge red, publisher's unpriceclipped dust jacket printed in red, black, and gold (split at front flap, back spine panel mostly split, closed tears to center of spine, a few other chips and tears to extremities, spine panel browned). FIRST EDITION, FIRST ISSUE.
The Two Towers. London: George Allen & Unwin, 1954. 8vo (221 x 146 mm). Folding map printed in red and black after Christopher Tolkien. (Some minor browning.) Publisher's red cloth, spine gold-lettered, top edge red, publisher's unpriceclipped dust jacket printed in red, black, and gold (some light chipping to spine ends and corners with nominal losses, spine and edges browned). FIRST EDITION FIRST ISSUE.
The Return of the King. London: George Allen & Unwin, 1955. 8vo (220 x 140 mm). Folding map printed in red and black after Christopher Tolkien. (Some minor browning.)
