This dress, or a duplicate of it, feature in a Steven Meisel photograph on page 119 of the 1995 'Geoffrey Beene' book by Brenda Cullerton.
The First: Wrap evening dress of black silk faille with panels and diagonal appliques of striped gold and various colors.
