This lot includes three dresses.
THE FIRST
Black net lace and bias-cut satin mermaid dress with stand collar, circular frog closures, long sleeves, and left side closure.
Unlabeled
The exact date of this first dress remains uncertain. It contains various elements from 1930's design and is very well made, yet the style is difficult to date exactly. The dress would have originally been worn with a slip, which is no longer connected to this dress.

THE SECOND

THE THIRD
Black ribbed dress with black velvet sleeves and built in faux sailor collar, center front bodice closure and asymmetrical button wrap skirt. The sleeves have a Charles James quality.

Condition
Condition:THE FIRSTThe overall condition is very good with no visible issues. THE SECONDThe overall condition is good with general soiling under each arm due to wear. There is a small separation on each waist tie where they attach to the bodice as well as the inner most front bodice piece from the right side seam. The rolled skirt hemline is also coming undone in two small areas. THE THIRDThe overall condition is good with wear noticeable at various points on the velvet collar and sleeves mostly on fold lines and seams. There is a very slight separation of the right sleeve cap from the back neckline and the top button holes on the left side collar are worn. Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. All other condition issues are stated above.
