• Lot Description
  Three Dresses; Two Black, One Floral Print, 1930 - 80s*
  
  This lot includes three dresses. 
  
  THE FIRST
  Navy with ecru floral print wool crepe short sleeve dress with rolled collar, pleating at chest, and left side zipper. 
  Unlabeled
  *Exact date of this dress remains uncertain as the general style with no label makes it difficult to determine the date of manufacture. 
  
  Approximate Measurements:
  Shoulders: 17.5"
  Chest: 39"
  Waist: 33"
  Hips: 40"
  Length (underarm to hem): 40"
  Sleeve Length (center back neck to hem): 19.25"
  
  THE SECOND
  Black wool crepe jersey 1940s dress with quilted neckline, velvet button/loop shoulder closures, cartridge pleats under bust and at hips, and left side snap closure.

  THE THIRD
  Black satin evening dress with wrapped bodice and rhinestone buckle at center back, flared skirt, and left side zipper closure. 
  Unlabeled
  Many design and construction details suggest the date to be from the 1930s, yet it could have been made later.

  Condition

  Condition:THE FIRSTThe overall condition is good though the zipper closure and most of the seam finishes appear to be newer than the age of the dress or altered.THE SECONDThe overall condition is good with wear very noticeable around the neckline, some white spots along the upper right bodice, and popped stitches on the left front chest pleats. There is also a small popped seam on the left under sleeve seam and front right hip. The pleated skirt panels have come loose from the main skirt near the hems. There is overall wear to the interior bodice lining and it appears there's a missing belt.THE THIRDThe overall condition is very good though there is some inconsistency in the stitching that may suggest alterations were made and a missing rhinestone from the buckle. Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. All other condition issues are stated above.
