Three Black Dresses with Metal Embellishments, 1940s
This lot includes three dresses.
THE FIRST
Black moss crepe cap sleeve evening dress with flat silver-tone circle studs, scoop neck, and stitched pleats in a diagonal pattern on the hips, with a full skirt.

THE SECOND
Black crepe cap sleeve evening dress with faceted circular brass studs on bloused top and peplum over draped skirt.

Condition:THE FIRSTThe overall condition is good though the right neckline facing at shoulder is missing a tack, the zipper is stiff, there are small pinhead sized holes in the back left skirt at hip level, and there is general light soiling along the back skirt hemline. THE SECONDThe overall condition is very good with some minor light color spots on the front left shoulder, front left hip, and back right waist side seam.THE THIRDThe overall condition is good with some minor soiling along the neckline, minor discoloration along the tops of the shoulders, and a bent flower pailette on the front right shoulder and slightly tarnished pailette on the left waist line. The front skirt drape is worn at the left waist side seam, and there are some light spots on the back skirt near hip and hemline. Everything is sold 'As Is'. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. All other condition issues are stated above.
