12mo (147 x 95 mm). 73 leaves comprising a selection of the Qur'an, within double gold with blue rule borders, in Naskhi script, gold and blue palmettes, gold and polychrome divisions, ff.1v with gold and polychrome headpiece. (Tear to first leaf crossing border, some browning, minor soiling or dampstaining.) Black morocco Islamic binding, central gilt arabesques on sides and flap, brown morocco doublures gilt (some separations to joints, some light rubbing or wear).

Condition
The Qur'an's cover and end boards are in somewhat fragile condition, with cracking and loosening of the flap cover, but it is overall intact and the end boards are securely held on. There are 73 leaves in the Qur'an; the pages have varying degrees of yellowing, with some foxing, water stains etc., heaviest within the first few pages only. There are no obviously torn pages or pages coming loose from the binding. The size of the Qur'an is 5 3/4 x 4 1/4 inches.
