Provenance:
Purchased Christie's London, April 19, 2000, Lot 291Frame: 48 1/4 x 39 3/4 inches. In overall decent stable condition. Minor craquelure throughout. Some blistering to paint on subject's left cheek and forehead. Professionally restored in 2000 by Chicago Conservation Center, in the form of relining, cleaning and overpainting (visible under UV inspection).
