ELIZABETH LOCKE, YELLOW GOLD AND CULTURED PEARL SET
Consisting of a necklace containing pearls measuring approximately 9.15-9.25 mm in diameter, strung knotted with hammered yellow gold clasp, together with a pair of convertible earclips with gold 'X' motifs and two removable pearl drops, folding posts with clip backs. Necklace: 15 1/4 inches long. Earclips: 1 5/16 inches long.
Necklace clasp stamp: (maker's mark) 19K.
Earclips stamp: (maker's mark) 18K.
42.40 dwt.
Accompanied by an Elizabeth Locke box, copy of Neiman Marcus receipt, 2009 and Elizabeth Locke letter offering the earclips for a charity auction.
Property of a Lady, Lakeville, ConnecticutMeasurements: The necklace measures approximately 15 1/4 inches long. The earclips with pearls attached measure approximately 1 5/16 inches long. Without the drops attached, the earclips measure approximately 3/4 inch long.Overall Condition: There is light scratching to the metal. Since detailed condition is difficult to ascertain, it is recommended that any strung jewelry purchased at auction be restrung. All lots are sold 'AS IS'.
