An American Cherry Corner Cupboard
19th century
having a molded projecting cornice above a glazed door opening to a shelved interior over two paneled doors, raised on bracket feet.
Height 87 x width 50 x depth 26 inches.
Estimate $ 500-700Condition
in overall good stable usable condition; older finish; fairly uniform, lighter towards top; some areas of wear; hardware likely replaced to doors; beading to outside of door with some chipping and loss; beading doors replaced; areas of fill below hardware on upper door; wear and chipping to skirt at lower edge; hinges appear original, upper and lower match; doors appear original; reglazing to glass suggesting some panes have been replaced; age to cornice moldings appears consistent with cabinet, unsure if original; mid molding possibly later replacement (additional images available upon request)
