• Lot Description
  An 18 Karat Yellow Gold, Ruby and Diamond Necklace,

  
  containing one oval cabochon cut ruby measuring approximately 10.20 x 7.80 x 5.46 mm, and seven oval cabochon cut rubies measuring from approximately 6.77 x 5.78 x 3.25 mm up to 8.32 x 5.97 x 5.57 mm, together with 174 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 23.20 carats total, and 21 pear shape diamonds weighing approximately 4.78 carats total.
  Stamp: ITALY.

  Condition

  Note: The necklace is missing one round brilliant cut diamond from the center pendant. The majority of the diamonds fall in the range of VS2-SI1. Ruby Characteristics (graded in setting) It is the opinion of the gemologist that the rubies in this necklace have internal characteristics consistent with natural rubies that have been color/clarity enhanced with standard heat treatment together with minor to significant flux rehealing of fractures.
