  An 18 Karat Yellow Gold, Emerald, Sapphire and Diamond Jabot Pin

  containing one octagonal step cut emerald weighing approximately 2.20 carats, one octagonal step cut sapphire weighing approximately 3.20 carats, two pear shape diamonds weighing approximately 0.60 carat total, and 15 round brilliant cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats total. Stamp: 18K. 14.20 dwts.

  Diamond Characteristics (graded in setting) Color: G-H Clarity: VS1-VS2 Overall Condition: No obvious damage visible under 10X magnification Emerald Characteristics (graded in setting) It is the opinion of the gemologist (Eblen) that the emerald in this brooch has internal characteristics consistent with natural emeralds; the stone shows evidence of minor clarity enhancement; the most likely location of geographic origin is Colombia (elongated and angular three-phase inclusions). Sapphire Characteristics (graded in setting) It is the opinion of the gemologist (Eblen) that the sapphire in this brooch has internal characteristics consistent with natural sapphires; the stone shows evidence of color/clarity enhancement through heat treatment.
