A Renaissance Revival Carved Walnut Bed
probably french, 19th century
both the headboard and the footboard surmounted by baluster form urn finials, the headboard with a dentiled frieze over the panel heavily carved to show two male figures holding a vacant cartouche and transforming into foliate scrolls, further flanked by male and female busts.
Height of headboard 69 x width 68 1/4 inches.
