* A Regency Parcel Ebonized Giltwood Bullseye Mirror
early 19th century
the crest centered by an ebonized spreadwing eagle perched atop rockery and flanked by foliate scrolls, the circular frame having beaded decoration and enclosing the convex mirror plate.
Height 37 x width 25 inches.
Estimate $ 1,000-2,000
Property from the Collection of Gordon and Patsy Wassenaar, Grand Rapids, MichiganDust and dirt throughout. Scattered chips and losses to the gilt decoration exposing the underlying gesso. Mirror exhibits signs of age, chips and frets along edges. Some separation to joints of frame. Eagle finial with loss to top of head; wings repaired. Additional images available upon request.
