- Lot Description
A Regency Lacquered Work Table
circa 1830
the hinged, shaped top opening to a fitted interior, raised on twin supports joined by a stretcher and ending in stylized paw feet, the case decorated throughout with Chinoiserie scenes depicting figures in various landscapes.
Height 28 x width 25 3/4 x depth 17 1/2 inches.
Estimate $ 300-500
Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout consistent with age and use. Scattered age splits, lifting and loses to veneer. Lid with areas of cloudy residue, appears to flake off when rubbed. A few areas of repair to top. Likely repair to one leg. Lacking fabric lining on underside. Additional images available upon request.
