A Pair of Louis XV Gilt Bronze Four-Light Candelabra
late 18th/early 19th century
each in the form of a standing putto before the foliate scroll and rocaille cast stem issuing four candle arms, raised on an openwork base.
Height of taller 13 1/2 inches.
Estimate $ 400-600
Each in decent, stable, complete condition. Having fairly dirty patina with some areas of spotting/discoloration. Candle arms and candles bent, don't stand straight as viewed in images. Candle slides with some chips and discoloration. Rewired, wires and sockets not tested.
Height to top of highest candle cup 13 1/2 inches, height to top of shorter candelabrum's highest candle cup 12 3/4 inches. Height to top of highest "candle" 21 inches.
