the rectangular dishes with sloped gadrooned borders with shells flanked by acanthus at corners, the high domed covers with fluted band and with foliate loop finial springing from radiating acanthus, both engraved on one side of cover with contemporary arms and crest under a foliate mantle, the dishes with matching crest, together with a pair of Sheffield-Plate warming stands with gadrooned bodies and paw supports, detachable liners, fully marked on bodies and covers, finials with maker's mark, lion passant and duty marks, dishes numbered 1, 3, covers 1, 4, warming stands marked on bases for Nathaniel Smith & Co., Sheffield; 139 ozt excluding warming stands.

one cover with some scratching to interior around pin to secure handle. one of plated warming trays with small dent at corner and small area of scratching to interior side. one warming stand with rim separating on one side, and some old solder repairs to interior of rim, two shells above three of feet with some small splits.
other cover rim need slight straightening in two spots, but can be easily straightened, not very noticeable. other warming tray with a small ding to corner but not through. other warming stand with rim separating in same spot as other, a little wear to high spot plating at gadroons, two tiny losses to scrolls above feet.
some light overall scratches from use, especially to interiors of dishes, decoration crisp, overall good
