A Jade Inset Hardwood Ruyi
Scepter 18TH/19TH CENTURY inset with three near-white jade plaques, the largest one carved in relief featuring a flying bat above two large peaches on a leafy branch, the second showing a Buddha's hand citron and the third one a pomegranate, the lower end of the handle pierced to hold a yellow silk core, having a red cloth covered stand. Length 21 inches.
Two jade plaques loose and detached, some chips to the hardwood handle, the handle was once broken in two sections and glued back together.Condition
