A Gilt Bronze Figure of Mahakhala
the wrathful figure standing in alidhasana on prostrate figures atop a single lotus plinth with beaded edges, his principle arms holding his consort and his hands grasping a chopper and a skull cup, the other hands in various mudras, wearing elaborate beaded jewelry and an elephant skin, the three faces with fierce expressions with his mouths in a snarl, his red-painted flaming hair secured by a skull crown, cast in two sections, the base sealed.
Height 5 1/2 inches.
