A George III Red and Gilt Lacquered Mantel Clock

the five-pillar triple fusee movement with an engraved back plate, crown wheel escapement and an overhead bell striking on the hour with two musical strikes played every three hours on ten nested bells, the circular dial with Roman numeral hours and Arabic minutes surmounted by a smaller date dial, both on an arched face worked to show acanthus scrolls, set in a domed square case decorated to show Chinoiserie throughout, raised on flatted bun feet.
