The watch winds, sets and runs but has not been timed for accuracy. The date and GMT indicator hand progress correctly.
The crystal has two significant scratches and scattered superficial scratches, the crystal edge near 1 o'clock has a noticeable chip. The dial is original and unaltered to the best of our knowledge, the luminous markers are somewhat faded and have slightly uneven surface under 10X magnification but are still distinct. The signature and chronometer wording are distinct without significant fade. The hands show very minimal discoloration to the luminous portions under 10X magnification.
The bezel shows significant wear and the vast majority of the black enamel accents to the Arabic numerals has been lost. The crown screws down securely. The lugs, outer band, and crown show significant wear consisting of deep scratches. The case back has moderate scratches and pitting. The bracelet and clasp have a fairly even moderate wear overall consisting of superficial to moderate scratches. The clasp is in good working order and closes tightly.
