Emerald Characteristics (graded in setting)
Center
Measurements: 9.16 x 7.08 mm (cannot measure depth, estimated below)
Estimated Weight
at 50% Depth: 1.50-1.80ct
at 60% Depth: 1.80-2.20ct
Grading
The stone has a green hue, medium tone, strong saturation, with sparsely scattered inclusions that are very subtly eye visible
Gemologist Opinion:
It is the opinion of the gemologist that the center emerald has internal characteristics (classic three-phase inclusions of elongated, angular form) consistent with natural emerald that shows an insignificant amount of clarity enhancement, and that the most likely location of geographic origin would be Colombia.
Remaining Emeralds
Measurements (cannot measure depths):
5.92 x 5.06 mm (0.50-0.70 ct)
5.33 x 4.94 mm (0.40-0.60 ct)
5.43 x 4.86 mm (0.40-0.60 ct)
5.34 x 4.79 mm (0.40-0.60 ct)
5.17 x 4.16 mm (0.35-0.55 ct)
5.08 x 4.08 mm (0.32-0.48 ct)
Grading
The stones are green in hue, medium in tone, moderately strong to strong saturation, with sparsely scattered inclusions that are subtly to moderately eye visible
Gemologist Opinion:
It is the opinion of the gemologist that the five of the six emeralds have internal characteristics (classic three-phase inclusions of elongated, angular form) consistent with natural emeralds that show an insignificant amount of clarity enhancement, and that the most likely location of geographic origin would be Colombia. The sixth emerald shows only extremely minute inclusions that are not readily identifiable for geographic origin but show that the stone is natural.
