A Collection of 18 Karat Yellow Gold Openface Pendant Watches, French, Circa 1838-1847,
the first pendant watch measuring approximately 28.00 mm case diameter, white dial with gilt accents, Roman numerals, gilt Louis XVI hands, rose motif engraved case back, faceted outer band, gold cuvette, stem wound and pin set the first pendant watch measuring approximately 26.00 mm case diameter, white dial with polychrome painted and gilt accents, Roman numerals with outer chapter ring in red calibrated to 60 units, gilt Louis XV hands, case back engraved with dragon and cupid motif with blank cartouche, faceted outer band, gold cuvette, stem wound and pin set 10 jewel gilt movement, suspended from a 14 karat yellow ball chain and glass gemstone slide chain necklace. Stamp: (French hallmarks) 62225. Stamp: (French hallmarks) 86460. Slide chain stamp: 14K (maker's mark for Krementz). 37.30 dwts.
