A Chinese Embroidered Silk Lady's Informal Robe
LATE QING DYNASTY woven with beribboned Daoist and Buddhist emblems interspersed with auspicious clouds and flower-filled baskets against a jade green ground, the cloud collar, cuffs and side border embroidered with figures in outdoor settings and animals besides flowering branches, all reserved on an ivory ground. Height collar to hem 43 inches.
