A Carved Celadon Jade Table Screen
qing dynasty
of an even celadon stone with russet skins, the front having a relief carving of two scholars and their attendants in a mountainous landscape with a pavilion, pine trees and rockworks, the reverse showing flowering prunus emerging from rockery, raised on a hardwood stand with finely carved lotus scrolls above scrolled feet.
Diameter of jade 8 1/4 inches.

Overall in good condition with no apparent chips, cracks or restoration. Two natural fissures to the back of the screen. The stand is also in good condition.
