A Blue and White Porcelain Snuff Bottles
daoguang period (1821-1850)
of upright cylindrical form, the main panel painted with a household scene depicting a lady standing behind a moon gate, looking at three standing male figures in a garden with rockery and banana trees, behind them a room with a Laughing Buddha placed inside, all below a band enclosing a butterfly and a bird perched on flowering branches, the neck decorated with winged bats.
Height 4 1/8 inches.
