A 14 Karat Yellow Gold and Amethyst Coat of Arms Ring, Austrian,
containing an octagonal step cut amethyst carved with a coat of arms depicting a coronet above a shield crest flanked by rampant griffins.
Stamp: (Austrian assay mark) (obscured maker's mark).
5.80 dwts.
Estimate $ 200-300The ring is approximately a size 7.75. The amethyst measures approximately 17.50 x 13.80 mm. Scattered superficial scratches are consistent with wear on the gold. The amethyst does not have any chips at 10x magnification.
