Extremely Rare Jonestown, PA Queen Anne Walnut Lowboy. Circa 1760. Signed on back board "A. Zahn, Jonestown" also signed "Jonestown, PA", having hex sign drawing. Molded top with duck bill corners, two over two lip molded dovetailed graduated drawers with original brasses, bottom right drawer interior with period German text verse, pegged construction, shaped cut-out skirt with inset and Solapur inlaid initials "H W", unusual central heart drop frieze, cabriole legs with scroll carving at back of knee and pad feet. 31-1/2"h. x 28"w. x 21"d. Condition: Good with cracks on top, repaired with screws and nails, wear and losses.
