R.G. Finney (Wyoming, B. 1941) "White Siberian Tiger Mother with Cubs" Signed lower right. Original Oil painting on Canvas laid on Board.
Provenance: Collection of James A. Helzer (1946-2008), Founder of Unicover Corporation.
This artwork was originally published on the Fleetwood Porcelain Plate for The Endangered Kingdom Collection Siberian Sojourn.
The White Siberian Tiger typically lives in Northern Siberia. It has blue eyes, heavy body fat, dark brown stripes with long white fur. Old males have massive shoulders and bodies that may measure 3 meters (10 ft) with a weight of 550 pounds. The tiger prefers cold temperatures in the northern regions of Eastern Europe. They prey on both small animals and larger prey such as seals. The Siberian Tiger is the largest animal in the cat family.
